THE BUZZ: Tech needed someone to make big plays last season, and Burnett answered the call. He tied for the NCAA lead with seven interceptions, a total higher than the entire Georgia Tech defense collected a year earlier. Burnett is best known for his ball-hawking ways, but he’s not a one-dimensional player. He also recorded a team-high 93 tackles last season – including 62 solos – and made seven stops behind the line of scrimmage."
