"Geno Atkins, Georgia – He may not be the most imposing figure at only 6-foot-1, 290 pounds. But don’t let it fool you. Atkins plays with a physicality and brute strength that belies his stature, and his quickness and agility make it tough for opposing linemen to keep their hands on him. He had a down year in 2008, with his 34 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and zero sacks representing significant drops from his sophomore season, when he led the Bulldogs with 14.5 tackles for loss and made 7.5 sacks. That drop off was representative of the entire Georgia defense, though, and shouldn’t be expected to carry over. Atkins still has that ability to penetrate and wreak havoc in the backfield, and a solid year could push him back into first-round draft territory."
