Dwyer First Sophomore to Win ACC POY

Here is a quote about Jonathan Dwyer from a Miami Hurricane blog.

Canespace: Ramblin' Gamblin' Man: "On September 17th the first sophomore to ever win the ACC football player of the year award visits Miami. Yellow Jacket running back Jonathan Dwyer led the ACC in rushing last season churning out 1,395 yards at 107.3 yards per game. Dwyer scored 12 rushing touchdowns, helping Georgia Tech to an impressive 9-4 season.

Dwyer is a preseason first team All American and is looking forward to another monster year. He stated that even after the twelfth game last season he still didn’t comprehend all of the Paul Johnson option offense. He says he is comfortable now and says the entire offense is playing with more confidence.
"

Please keep in mind that Dwyer won this award when the ACC sent a record 10 teams out of 12 to bowls in 2008. Congrats to Dwyer, Paul Johnson, and the GT yellow jacket players and coaches.
